But it seems all those rules of evidence and honest discussion fly out the window when Trump is brought up. I read her the actual transcript of Trump's rally and showed her that Trump didn't call coronavirus a hoax. She got mad that she couldn't look up a response because she didn't have her phone. I'm thinking, I just read you the source material, the actual transcript, what else is there to look up? You shouldn't need a pundit to interpret Trump's speech. Interpret it yourself. What ever happened to reading source material and formulating your own opinion?
Maybe this all comes down to a side effect of demoralization.
