Is there anyone that has advice on how to not stress eat?

I had some bad addictions to food at one time in my life but I broke the habit of overeating and impulsive eating by doing a few short + safe therapeutic fasts.

Most people hate when I recommend this to them, but you can fast safely to help break addicitons and heal your body. Look up videos by Dr.Fung, Cole Robinson (of the Snake Diet- Warning: He is very offensive like a drill sargent. But he's effective and a Canadian Trump supporter), and Dr.Ken Berry.

Fasting, so long as you have some body fat on you, is not starvation and the autophagy effects can truly heal your body. The mental clarity and benefits can help with addictions too!

Good luck to you!

Edit: I wanted to add SiimLand to the list as well. He has some great videos about how to fast safely and live a healthier lifestyle!

Edit 2: Since it's ladies night, I also wanted to mention Sasha Snake Diet on youtube. She is very very based, learned from cole, and has a bunch of great videos about how she broke her food addiction with fasting!

If you get any good advice, I hope you'll tell me. For me, the best thing is to channel that pent up frustration into another project. A fun one. Could be anything that's enjoyable or feels like a treat. I also love to exercise (I know, I'm weird) and that helps relieve stress and just makes you feel better, overall. When I get down or overly stressed and feel too overwhelmed to do anything, I find just doing something productive, even a small thing that only takes 5 - 10 minutes, makes me feel better. I usually do something that I have been putting off, like clearing out some paperwork or re-organizing a drawer. It may not cure the *cause *of the stress, but it distracts me and somehow makes me feel better because I have exerted control and done something that helps me in one form or fashion.

I walk almost everyday. Load-bearing exercise. Good for the bones. Plus you get fresh air.

Walk a lot, that weight will come off.

Me and hubby exercise in our mini gym room. I do treadmill and he does bike. Monday-Friday. We also do our own regular exercises too. Started in Jan and really feeling so much more fit. I need him to make me do it.

I saw something similar recently. I guess it works the upper body as well?
