I have a broken water meter that results in my water bill being HUNDREDS of dollars per month.
The City of Chicago won't come and fix it because they are "shut down." You call the Water Department and they don't even have their call center configured to even answer your call; it goes straight to an automated recording explaining their current protocol: unless there's a water main break, go fuck yourself.
So, I am wrongfully shelling out $100+/mo to Lori Lightbrain with no end in sight and zero idea if they will ever refund me.
