In Florida our doors open out, as a kid we learned it’s so hurricanes don’t blow them in and you guys have em open in to retain heat better or something. Not saying your premise doesn’t have validity, but adding some color
Its also better for visitors but think about that. Swinging in they can stand up close to the door and its umm standard now. But swinging out theyd have to stand back from the doors swing, which is a safer position for person behind the door

I dont buy that although theres obviously valid justification. A doors main objective is protection, its 3 times as strong opening out
