At the same time though he’s saying leave it to the states. Works in some red states but blue ones with tyrannical governors will never reopen... and Trump being relatively silent about it is not necessarily a good look for the people stuck in those states under those policies.
Even if it is ultimately a state decision on reopening, it’s something that Trump needs to intervene on. Completely leaving it to states is a really, really bad idea that’s going to hurt a lot of people, and Trump’s approval in the long run. He needs to get real doctors and real scientists to present data showing how bullshit the lockdowns are. Needs to take a far more aggressive stance and end the tyranny.
Agreed. Need an address to the nation that says “The cure can not be worse than the problem itself. We have to go back to work to support ourselves and our families. Staying on lockdown is letting the virus defeat us and our great country. There isn’t even any proof that they help”.
I fee like there isn’t a lot that can separate Trump from his voter base/make him lose support, but I think being weak on reopening is one of them. The less action he takes on that, the less people are going to trust him.

Polls mean nothing, when polling how do we know what they DISAGREE with ? For instance, on the STUPID POLING on the Virus handling (which I think is dumb to start with and only done for Propaganda) can't 10 to 15 percent of the "NEGATIVE" numbers be Republicans who 1. Don't like the closing down of the Economy 2. The excessive spending putting us into debt.......?
So, those 15 percent are never voting against Trump, but what if they don't like how Trump handled this in that manner ? So polls don't mean crap in reality. They are propaganda tools.
Certainly, there are awful polls out there that are only meant as propaganda for the left, with that said Rasmussen proved in the 2016 cycle to be VERY accurate. Ignoring their polls and approval index is pretty short sighted IMO.
That's why I stated THAT PARTICULAR POLL is worthless, with Dems, they are like BOTS, 47 percent would vote against Trump if he cured cancer because they realize they are part of the propaganda system, so discount those POS people. Trump got 46 percent of the vote so ANYTHING under that on Trump's reelectability is pretty much hogwash. as per this poll, the reason it means nothing is there are at least 10-15 percent of Republicans, maybe more, maybe 20-30 percent of Republicans, thus 10-15 percent of any National poll that is Republicans who absolutely HATE the fact that we closed down or damned economy because of weasle headed statisticians. Other Republicans hate the fact that we are spending Trillions of dollars we don't have. Those same Republicans are going to vote for Trump, so its a Poll that has no relevance because of that IMHO.
