It's not happening if they just get to walk away after destroying a US General's life and threatening his kids.

This is our Battle of Midway, just like in WW2. The fleet was doing everything it could to regain power in the pacific, finally we won a decisive victory against the Japanese and the war was turned 6 months after Pearl Harbor.
