Well, it's been a long time coming. I've been around since the early days of T_D, back on what shall not be named, and I decided to register here to continue the party. (Under a different name, as you can never be too careful these days). So, why I am I here? I'll give you a little background. I, like a lot of people, have a disability. And the Democrats believe that they, and they alone "speak" for me, as I am a "minority". I have never been a socialist, communist or any sort of leftist. No one gets to speak on my behalf, unless I say they can. Yet they believe they are entitled to my vote, that they are the most compassionate and caring (***Ha!***). Their "compassion" and "caring" are anything but, and I despise them with the intensity of a thousand suns. Oh, they care alright, enough to keep everyone on the plantation. I am an educated man (I hold a degree in software engineering, and speak six languages). Yet, they call me a "deplorable" because I vote in opposition to them, because I care for my fellow man and, and want to see America made great again! They mock me, and sneer at me, yet in the intelligence department, I'd knock them flat so fast they'd be twelve feet (and counting) under, towards the Earth's core. Again, why? Because I don't judge people on the way they vote, their skin colour, or anything else. And they do. I see a person, they see a group. And you glorious guys (and girls), haven't changed, have you? You're still the same riotous "fun turned to 11" glorious bastards I knew from back then. It's like coming off shift, and having a beer/soda/pop/whatever every day with your best friends. Some things never change... Finally, I'd like to make a few closing pointers (saving the best for last, as they say). I live in a country where my rights can be taken away by Government edict, my speech silenced, and arms taken. Yes, we have democracy, and a decent way of life, *but* we have no such thing as a written Constitution, beautiful thing that it is. You probably don't understand just how much Old Glory and the Constitution mean to a person like me. Why? Because you've grown up with her, you've not known anything different, the almost complete freedom to do as you please. Again, all down to a Constitution. Were I able to emigrate, I'd settle in MS. Why? Southern hospitality is the best there is, and the kindness of the people (general assholes excepted), second to none. I had the privilege of experiencing it a few years ago, and the memory still brings a smile to my face. Lastly, all those "journalists" who scream abuse and spit venom at the President? You're no journalists! A journalist checks their opinion at the door and behaves respectfully! (Take a number, and I'll return it to you as you leave). What you are, are partisan hacks and mouthpieces, nothing more! And it shows. How (wryly) amusing that you decry your own words played back to you as propaganda. I love a President that stands up for his country, and best of all? Has a shit-eating grin on his face every day he faces up to these "journalists" - Best. Timeline. Ever. So, it's nice to see you guys and girls again (especially /u/BasedMedicalDoctor, always have time for their comments/posts), buckle up, it's going to be a wild ride. And you know what?
