This proves virus is much less dangerous than predicted.

27
LugNuts 27 points ago +27 / -0

Not predicted, Projected. There was never any reason or evidence indicating it was worse than SARS.

I'm honestly starting to believe all those "leaked" videos out of Wuhan of the Chinese welding people into their homes were staged and released on purpose to scare the world into burning down their own economies. This way China gets the economic devastation they want, but the lack of serious loss of life combined with the Chinese controlled US media not acknowledging China's role makes it harder to push for full retaliation.

Speaking of r/coronavirus around early February one mod starting taking over all the different coronavirus subs and then suddenly they all became pro China and anti Trump

True, it was actually right around the time they finally killed T_D now that I think about it

I still think China got the early deadliest lab leaked version of the virus hence their draconian response. If it was a false flag on China's part, they were actually killing their own people. Which is totally believable. But I think they got a deadly version early on, Iran got that same strain and parts of Italy as well. Silk road initiative had reps from Wuhan at some international business fair in Milan and a few weeks later they were dropping like flies. Iran also has close ties to china. By the time it spread to the rest of the world, the less deadly mutations were widespread creating immunity from the more deadly form.

I think once China realized they were going to be left behind they started ramping up the fear propaganda even though they had it under control. Early on all the videos coming out were cell phone vids. It was actually really bad then, bloggers disappearing and stuff. Then suddenly you had these ccp videos showing off how their special forces were dealing with quarantine breakers while in full hazmat suits. And them showing off their shitty rapid rise hospitals. I think that was the beginning of their second phase of strategy to try and have the rest of the world shut down as well.

It is a lot easier when you have treasonous SOB like Fauci banging the drum.

How do you suppose it went down, Fauci is told to make it happen, so somehow Fauci recruits Brix, and either he pays her to be his stooge or she believes (but no, her daughter works for Bill Gates in the very department where more bogus projections came from).

I don't disagree, but I don't understand either, how does this prove that?

Test kits are false. Check out how that was totally proven with the President from Tanzania. He tested vehicle engine oil and papaya. They came back positive with the virus. The test kits are testing for antibodies not the virus. It's all unraveling.

9
TonsOfSalt 9 points ago +9 / -0

The tests used in the US have 70% sensitivity... aka wrong 30% of the time, which is why hospitals have to run the test 3x before they really consider it ruled out

2
Watermelons 2 points ago +2 / -0

Seriously? Do you have that sensitivity info anywhere? I made my first post about how most of the positive tests were false positives. It'd be interesting to see actual sensitivity and specificity numbers.

1
TonsOfSalt 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don't have the information at hand, but I heard it directly from one of the lead infectious disease docs at a hospital.

1
Watermelons 1 point ago +1 / -0

Damn. With those numbers you could mathematically show just how bad the false positives/negatives are. I've never bought into the asymptomatic carriers thing.

1
TonsOfSalt 1 point ago +1 / -0

There are definitely asymptomatic carriers given that one prison study showing over 95% of positives had no symptoms. False positives wouldn't explain that kind of percentage even with the low sensitivity test.

1
Watermelons 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's both sensitivity and specificity that determine false positive rate. Do you have a link to the prison study? I'd like to see what they did to confirm the positive test results.

1
TonsOfSalt 1 point ago +1 / -0

I have not seen the individual study itself, just news reports. I don't have their exact test methodology, but I can't conceive of any scenario where a 70% sensitive test would result in 96% false positives, so there has to be another answer... namely... there are a large number of asymptomatic positives.

1
Bax101 1 point ago +2 / -1

But what are they testing for antibodies or the virus itself? Everyone has antibodies in them. https://www.britannica.com/science/antibody

1
Homopratensis1 1 point ago +2 / -1

There is evidence that flu shot anti bodies result in positive result sometimes.

12
Holeinone 12 points ago +12 / -0

Nearly the same story across the upper Midwest with meat packing plants in Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska.

High number of positives, few if any symptomatic.

Good to know. Thank you. So they can't say this one plant is an anomaly.

I buy from a locally owned butcher. It's about 20% more per pound and I pay it with a smile on my face and a spring in my step.

Jesus they all caught a cold working in the cold room!

Working in the cooler really cuts years off your life, serious arthritis etc, great for hangovers though

I used to work a gas station job during college. There was nothing better after a late night slamming beers then walking back into freezer during my shift when things were slow.

Adds credence to how the immune system becomes stronger when exposed to crowds. Being locked in your home is detrimental to a robust immune system.

The Bakersfield Doctors (2nd video) cover this bit of science well.

We need to reopen America and give Trump back his hard fought economic success.

7
DJT2020 7 points ago +7 / -0

They have been killing immune systems in this country for years by oversanitizing everything and using alcohol hand sanitizers. As one phlebotomist nurse told me once, these teenagers have no immune systems. Having a danger free society has its disadvantages. One day one strain of virus could wipe us out if we have little or no immune system to fight it with.

3
DrainNIH 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is excellent. Do you mind if I share this quote with my community's FB page, who are freaking out rn? (I will paraphrase so they don't do a word search.) I totally believe the nurse. Am genuinely very concerned with the health of our children (and future workforce, under the age of 18). Sad!

The president of Tanzania showed everyone test kits are rigged for false positive results.

Communists now wanting to shut down the food supply just have to show up with a bunch of these kits to whatever processing plants they choose.

Yesterday I read that a woman scientist finished a study and said her results showed that you need close contact to spread the corona virus and that you need to be showing symptoms. I can't find it today, does anyone remember where it was and can put in a link for me?
