Nice! My wife and I were young ignorant idiots when we met, fell in love, and got married. Never had a thought about politics much less a discussion. As we grew older and had our first child together and then a second child and as we struggled to gain education and employment to better our lives we just ended up landing on the same political page. Hard working, loving, and common sense seems to be the magic recipe for individual thinking. I can't even imagine what our relationship would be like if we had discovered that we were politically opposite in our thinking. I think we just were attracted to the right qualities in each other and we just grew into our beliefs together.
Maga! well as a homosexual man in an interracial relationship it behooves me to point out that the term partner is far more LGBTQ friendly and the two children we are raising dont even know what a wife or a husband is! The nature of a relationship is not an indicator to the success level of the children within the home, there is simply no need to degrade a women into a wife, when she is truly your partner. Unless you don't see her as your equal I don't see the problem here.
