I support this measure but I was also a little nervous because My fiancé is Ukrainian, I lived in Ukraine in 2016 and 2017 working as an English teacher. I have done everything legally to file for a K1 Fiancé VISA and we are at the finish line. I had to prove that I can financially support my wife before they even issue the visa. Also, she works remotely so she will be making money as soon as she gets here. From my understanding marriage based immigration is not affected by the new restrictions. The President has LOTS OF supporters with foreign wives/husbands. Also if Trump suspends marriage based visas can you imagine what the media will say, “Trump has an immigrant wife, now he bans spouses of Americans! what an Orange 🍊 hypocrite!!!
