She had a stroke from 3 nodes of cancer in her brain, 2 small and 1 big, and so she underwent 5 rounds under a gamma knife. She was in the hospital for a couple of weeks and then she was home for a week. I am blessed by my Lord that she was home with me and my Pa for as long as she was, and for that time I am eternally grateful.

Early last morning, she could no longer breathe; her breathing was heavy and labored. She was taken to the Hospital. Her Doctors found a clot in her lungs and were forced to risk blood thinner for her clot, but it caused her brain to bleed, which was catastrophic.

Early this morning, I saw my Ma for the last time and told her goodbye.

She had Lung Cancer for just over a decade. She attended Church all her life and loved our Lord and Savior. She was a nurse for 30 years, 25 of which were spent working in the Intensive Care Unit. She loved holding her patients' hands and fluffing their pillows or fetching them a warm blanket.

She taught me phonics and read me stories as a child. On Sundays her and Pa took me and both Sisters to Church to hear the Gospel. She gave me the feelings of wonder and awe of our World.

Lung Cancer was a nightmare for all of us, but especially for her. She passed away quickly and comfortably. She was so kind and the most loving woman I know. In my eyes I see her as the greatest Ma in the Universe.

She is now beyond the spectacular and brilliant Milky Way and in Heaven.

I miss you so much already Ma. 💜

Your mother reminds me a lot of mine, and this I can assure you. Her love for you is more than you could ever imagine. Every success you've had is a prayer answered, and all the great things you and your family will do are prayers yet to be answered awaiting Gods time. I'm sorry to hear that she is gone, but she is with the Lord now where there is no sickness, no pain, and she'll be singing songs of glory til you meet again.

May God bless you and your family, brother.
