Fast forward to now and having seen my entire worldview flip in 2016 and finding out Biden is a very weak and questionable candidate at best, it really is remarkable.
One pervasive shortcoming of both sides of the political spectrum is underestimating the cleverness and genius of your opponent. These men that have sat on the pinnacle of American power are all killers, through and through. Bush Sr, Clinton, W, 0bama, Trump, for all their faults individually, are brilliant to the brink of sociopathy.
I would disagree that DJT is a sociopathic killer. Hillsdale College put on a speech about Patton that described a common trait as "pre civilized values." I thought that was a good way of putting it, and it was used to explain why people were willing to overlook unsavory behavior. I found that to be spot on.
Biden literally just lies and gets away with it due to minimal to zero media coverage. The lies aren't even good. He just never stops doing them. And the media continues to protect him. And that for decades apparently.

We've had many years of Republican campaigns choosing against taking the 'low road', then losing like gentlemen. The President has wisely not attacked Joe on this issue himself. But other people should, whether they believe it's true or not. Women disproportionately vote Democrat, and this is a strong line of attack with that voting demo.
We're in a long fight against a dangerous enemy, and we can't afford the luxury of fighting by Marquess of Queensbury rules, or coddling our noble self-images.
