There was a post here a while back, right after Bernie dropped out, that showed how many users at r/Sanders were not even Americans. People from Germany, Sweden, Canada etc.

The thing about "social" media (and the mainstream media) is that it's a tool for manufacturing "popular" opinion. They metaphorically give a megaphone to a small group of obedient sheep, while muzzling dissent and free speech via deplatforming and banning.

That's why the Israel sub is a pro-Palestinian echo-chamber, the South Africa sub is an anti-white echo chamber, and r/the_donald, r/trump, r/conservatives etc. have all been repurposed to attack independent thought.

And it's not just Reddit. It's all of our popular culture. Comics, video games, movies. They are all being used as tools of propaganda now.

Because none of us are getting off our asses and fighting back. TheDonald.win is an outstanding achievement that is growing rapidly, and we should all be learning from that. We need our own social media, our own payment portals, our own banks, our own news media. And boy do we need to start turning up and volunteering to monitor vote counts at every election, because that is where we're being screwed the most.

Man you are deadly on point here. You know what makes the difference? Based leaderships. If you have leaders (take the admin/mods behind TD.win for example) who can't be bought, who take care to safeguard strong values... We need to find a way to help those situations gain steam. Maybe I'm talking about monetization avenues, or I don't know what, but I want to see more of what's happened here on this site.
