Don't forget how draconian the lockdown in China was... they were welding buildings shut. Here the lockdown is like a suggestion as long as you aren't opening a business or going to church
Don't put words in my mouth or I'll put something you won't like in yours. I'm not saying I'm ok with the lockdown here. I think it's a political device, but that was not the point of my comment. I am saying that from a health perspective China can do whatever the fuck it wants to its citizens so it would be way easier for them to actually have the effect they want out of a lockdown. Here people are flippant about the measures so the measures don't work so they are extended.
