It speaks to how spectacularly awful McCain was as a candidate that any white rural PA people voted for Obama in 2008.

Maybe they did it as a wake up call to the Republican Party - as a way to say - hey, we are not eating the bullshit you are feeding us any more. Since there was no Trump to vote for in 2008.

I sure thought so at the time. Especially when McCain - publicly on stage at a rally - called a racist the local radio personality who introduced him as "the man who will beat Barack Hussein Obama".

That was a dead giveaway.

So I (respectfully) disagree here. Obama was a uniquely talented CANDIDATE. Forget what we know about him now, or even what he showed us over the 8 years. Just look at him through 2008 eyes. He had all the "anti-establishment" cred Trump had. He was basically a clean slate as far as background to most people (again, forget what we know now). He looked good, spoke well, was young, and not bald (the US hasn't voted a bald president in since the 18th century*).

A lot of people saw him as the end of the chapter of racism in the US (again, at the time SPOILER ALERT: wrong). I think McCain was a pretty average candidate but on paper was totally outclassed by Obama.

*Eishower is the exception but remember he ran against Adlai Stevenson both times, a man who was somehow balder than Ike.

Yep, this is exactly it, and we have evidence in how hard the tables flipped in the 2010 congressional elections. People realized they were duped.

Amazingly, the Republicans ran an even bigger cuck in 2012 and Obama eked out a win.

President Delecto would've been an equal disaster. 2012 was a JOKE of an election year, everyone loses!

5
NomadicKrow 5 points ago +5 / -0

Fuck, President Delecto. I'm sitting at work waiting to screen people for illness and laughing at "President Delecto."

The Jack Ryan ripple effect. They would have run him had he not really wanted to fuck his wife in front of other people

That’s what I’ve been saying about Obama for a long time. He really sucks on real accomplishments, going back forever. But he’s really, really good at getting elected.

Mr_Dr_Jullian_Dunbar 3 points ago +3 / -0

0bama was nothing more than Bush/Clinton 3.0.

HowardRoark 3 points ago +3 / -0

Obama was your classical "jive talker". He was very smooth and talked a really good game, but when it came time for action, he have no idea how to actually deliver.

This is what Steve Jobs had to say about Obama:

"I'm disappointed in Obama, he's having trouble leading because he's reluctant to offend people or piss them off,"

"The president is very smart, but he kept explaining to us reasons why things can't get done," Jobs said. "It infuriates me."

Honestly I think the “Left” and “Right” had been playing with us using that tactic. They took turns being the loser because it didn’t matter, they were all one agenda anyways.

Then greedy Hilary came along and exposed it to even more people, and we actually voted in an outsider for the first time in years and it pissed the globalist fucks off.

In the week before the 08 election Obama ran blatantly false ads in PA that no one ever called him on. If you didn't know better you went into the election believing he was endorsed by the NRA among other bullshit.

My father lives in PA, voted for Obama twice and for Trump - whole family is on the Trump Train.

Dad liked 0 because "he reminds me of Bush", same policies so I can see it. Liberal faggots voted for 0 in droves, same people I stood in line protesting the bullshit wars LOVED 0 and Big Mike even though0 did far more horrible stuff than Bush (drone killing children in cages ect).

It was after 2008 I could never trust a liberal on a deep level again, it was 2012 when the Republican convention was literally stolen from Ron Paul that I could never trust a conservative again. Conservative folks didn't give a shit and saw them worse than a leftist, and muh libertarians might as well as be commies in my book. At least commies have an ethos.

That's why I love GEOTUS, the man is a walking talking high energy big dick Liberty Canidate.

Yes he did. Anti-White racists voted for him in droves.

ailurus 5 points ago +5 / -0

Was looking for a post of this opinion.

Racist isn't just "hate blacks" despite academia's attempts to redefine the term to their "power + privilege" bs. Racist is treating people differently based on their race. And middle and upper class white progressives are some of the most racist people in the world, with their constant declarations of "anything white is inherently bad"

16
northperuvianchile 16 points ago +16 / -0

Conversely, 90++% of blacks voted for Obama so how is that NOT considered race based voting? They are planning the same tactic with Joe Blow 2020

1
NatSock 1 point ago +4 / -3

Democracy in America is a racial headcount.

Drain the fucking swamp.

Even knowing what Iknow now, voting for McCain , or Romney over Obama in both those elections, would be a very tough sale for me. I don’t remember who was on the 3rd party tickets, but I’d probably just have to throw them my vote. Those are some horrible choices.

My friend do I have a story for you that involves my favorite things: Star Trek, beautiful blonds, and Democrats being dirty politicians (also kinky sex)

3
Meddlesom 3 points ago +3 / -0

Ah, so she didn't want to get passed around like a party favor and divorced her husband who was running against Obama, so Obama got in easy after Ryan dropped out.

Can't blame her, I won't be holding that against her.

5
Whoopies_tds 5 points ago +5 / -0

Not rural PA and definitely not low income but that’s exactly what I did in PA👆

Clinton sucked in 08 primary (actually longer) and NoName sucked just as bad. Barry seems to have been the best bad option

5
Afeazo 5 points ago +5 / -0

America is no where near as racist as democrats want it to be.

Then they go out and say white supremacism is this nations biggest threat. Uh huh. I have in my life never even seen an actual white supremacist

5
americathegr888 5 points ago +5 / -0

If only they HAD been racist.

5
Pedeville 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yeah, because Obama was such a shitty president that he turned everyone into black-hating racists /s

1
NatSock 1 point ago +4 / -3

Obama reified the “POC vs White” movement, which, as the SPLC said a couple years ago, has been planned for a long time.

4
nachosamplerREBORN 4 points ago +4 / -0

They both promised change - Trump delivered. Voters got screwed the first time. It’s not difficult to understand.

4
FL2PC72LE 4 points ago +4 / -0

They just use that language to try and bully/shame all whites into voting Democrat. That is the only goal in their heads: vote Democrat or you are bad, bad, bad.

-1
NatSock -1 points ago +2 / -3

Vote Republican and get mad, mad, mad when you don’t get what you want.

Americans are getting DP’d by these swamp monsters.

2
Wess-mantooth 2 points ago +2 / -0

That would be quite a trick indeed

NatSock 0 points ago +6 / -6

Blacks voted for Obama but they didn’t vote for Trump. Only White people vote on principle.
