I think he simply didn't think Trump would actually achieve the things he ran on and turns out he did and Crowder like a reasonable honest dude admits he's wrong and supports him. Yeah he freely admits that he didn't support trump in the primary and trumps recent actions against China(on trade) swayed him to the trump train.
Unlike Tim pool Crowder was always a conservative so much of his pre trump train content is still fantastic stuff: bernies crazy, 2a important, etc.
