Did he report the driver? If you give them a low star rating and report them, it seems that they get blackballed. Definitely works with Uber - that I know.

LOL. No, he didn't. He probably wouldn't report him unless they assaulted him, etc. But he would not do something like that to someone else who had a different opinion than he does, so he was really shocked at the guy's reaction. Really shocked.

My train of thought is if someone kicked me out of their Uber/Lyft/whatever because I had different political opinions/views/etc I would not hesitate to report them. They are representing the company that they are contracted by. If they are unable to do their job like a grown adult, perhaps they should learn the consequences for being childish - by allowing them to continue doing this, they are not learning how to function as a member of a society with diverse opinions/views. Granted, if the driver is in his 50s, it might be a bit late to educate them.

It’s worse than that, hypothetically if someone kicked out someone who said something that hurt their feels while they were driving through a bad area, and said person were robbed or killed, or in the case of a woman raped, then this would be on them and Uber. Drivers that are emotionally unstable enough to throw someone out based on something they said that didn’t agree with their philosophical point of view, should absolutely be reported.

Sorry about the run on sentences, I didn’t know how to separate them lol

LOL, seriously. And them considering diverse opinions, is not gonna happen. Anyway, you got me curious, so I asked him. He said, like I figured originally, he was really just shocked. But then he said he thought, "This guy's an idiot, and I kinda felt sorry for him." That is exactly what he said. He said he hadn't written a review on him yet either, so IDK what he will actually do now, but I also found out if he takes a Lyft, he gives them cross-streets, not exact street address, and I didn't know that, so that is kind of a relief if he give a not so great review. The driver, if he wanted to retaliate, couldn't. You are right, we give the Lefties all kinds of breaks. They have a difference of opinion, cuss us out, they don't even know us, never talked to us before, but treat us like crap, act entitled, and we expect it, and allow it. Why?

You know, it's not too late to report the driver there's still a window of time to do it.
