I know there’ll be at least one person who flips out that I did anything to an historic weapon, but I paid $80 for it, couldn’t hit paper at 50, realized the barrel had a bulge 3” from crown. Had to cut anyway. That stock plus timney trigger made it a fantastic shooter.

I paid more for the stock than I did the rifle with a tin of 300 rounds.

Same. It took a bit of consideration, too. Spend $400 on an $80 rifle, or buy a new $400 rifle. I went this route since I didn’t want a useless gun in the case.

Each of these guns has quadrupled in value since I bought them 10+ years ago.

The bull pup sks stock is from SGWorks.
