Since I was a kid, and to this day, I never understood how a natural place could be “closed”.

You might close a store and go home.....but a park is still a park, regardless whether we are there or not.

When you’re poor in California you use what you have. A better sign could easily be made if the public utility that owns this lake refunded part or all of my $150 annual membership to the great outdoors I paid to use this F’ng place, or just simply open up.....no sign necessary. Fuck Communism

Jenkinson Lake / Sly Park. Pollock pines CA. Middle of the El Dorado National Forest out in no mans land Owned and operated by crooked El Dorado Irrigation District (eid.org). Their 100% residential rate increase proposal is posted right next wuhan flu response on their website. Crooked as the day is long.

I've driven Hwy 50 north of Jenkinson Lake but never stopped.

Years ago, I took SR 88 southwest from South Lake Tahoe as a short cut to Hwy 99. Beautiful country.

100% residential rate increase? Wow.

It's be a shame if someone came by in a pickup, loaded those cones into it and brought them to the dump. Then subsequent people would have no way of knowing the park was supposed to be closed, you know?

Great idea!!!!

A dozen of us Pede Patriots each “borrowed” one so as to throw the commies off our scent and went our different ways. I got one in the back of the car driving away as I type. If I knew how to insert a pic I would.
