Like fuck I did. I wrote my governor and both senators. I voiced my opinion in appropriate ways in appropriate circles. I've educated my closes friends and family to the extent they were willing to receive information. And I vote in every election from school board all the way to the president.
It felt GREAT to go out with my family this weekend and eat out 3 times, walk in a public place with no fucking mask on, and made sure the facecondom wearers knew exactly what look I was giving them.
I'm not ready to reach for that third box yet but this will NOT happen again. They got their little fearporn jollies, and the longer this plays out, the more people will resist this ever happening again. People are self-actualizing the ridiculousness of this entire façade, and frankly, a few more weeks will wake more people up. This is angering all sides.
Look what's happening in California. Fucking CALIFORNIA of all places. The democrats are losing big on this issue. We need the presidency, yes, but we need both the house and senate this election. This is only helping us at this point.
