I’m just guessing here, but could it also be possible that Trump and the team foresaw that if the republicans had subpoena power immediately after Trump won, they would have caught everyone immediately.

I’m assuming they have SIMS of everyone with a phone, and supercomputers to run simulations of how America will react to things. Then they test theories and go with the path that leads to the least harm and the most redpills.
