What's really sad is we know exactly why blacks are doing this to themselves. It's because it's not the color of their skin, it's the fact that the black community has so many absent fathers.
Take fathers out of the home, and this happens.

No doubt that's a factor in America but it begs the question: why do they have the same things in other countries, regardless of culture?
Are fathers abandoning families at the same rate in Kenya or Somalia? (What do all these groups have in common? Federal Aid)
All I'm saying is that I think it's a combination of factors, including the excessive federal aid we pump into the communities. That creates dependent and lazy people who never have to work to survive. Take a man off of food stamps and he'll work his ass off to keep eating. (Or just riot until he gets what he asked for, free food, free rent, in prison)
These stats are owed to the fact that a very slight shift in a bell-curve does terrible things at the extremes.
The X-chromosome is thought to have an affect on intelligence. Since women get two it follows that their intelligence curve is slightly tighter with less individuals with extremely high, or extremely low, intelligence. Thus, a small percentage of men are extremely intelligent. Thus, the majority of award winning scientists are men.
Likewise, the black populations of most countries are slightly more aggressive than other populations. Only the most violent 1% or so of a population ends up imprisoned at any given time. If you shave off the entire curve but for the most violent you find that they are mostly black. This, despite the fact that the average black person isn't much more aggressive than any other demographic.
Extreme edges of populations have disproportionate impact both to our benefit and detriment.
Yup. No one complains that all the basketball players are black. No one calls for equity for native Americans and Philippinos and Irish people in the NBA.
All I can tell you is that in the USA, if a black family has a father at home, the kids are going to grow up like most white and asian kids. If a white and asian family is missing their father, their kids grow up like most black kids.
I am sure there are deeper issues at play in 3rd world countries. But in the US, the problem is clearly a lack of fathers.

% of fatherless homes
Number of abortions
The literacy rate
Solve those and watch the community grow and thrive
