The American people can end these shutdowns themselves. Simply disreagard the orders from Governors and Mayors en masse.

No law enforcement agency can stop massive amount of business openings. Bar owners should band together and make a face book announcement that they are opening effective immediately and NO mask required. Resturants should do the same. Places that are open should push the envelope.

Some 3,000 churches in CA planning a move such as this. They need to move it up to this week! Start immediately.

Some of law enforcement has already declared they will stand w/ the public. As the movement grows the remaining law enforcement will swing.

Anyone hassled should immediately file a lawsuit. Video everything. Spread on all media. Govt is by the people not over the people Time to show the "officials with an over inflated sense of self-worth" who the boss is.

And in November, reelect Trump w/ over 45 states! Will be the biggest rebuke in the history of earth to the overlords!

Yep.

One little problem though.

All the bartenders and servers in blue states are getting paid more to stay home, and are perfectly fine as long as that continues.

Of course, that was part of the plan.

I just don’t understand how so many people can be content to stay home and do nothing. As a result of CCP virus I am still working but have had fewer hours in the days at home when I am not working and have very little to do make me bored out of my mind.

With you! I walked into a country store today, without a mask. I politely asked the cashier if i needed a mask, she wasnt wearing one, but was behind a sneeze guard. She said, no, youre ok. Another woman walked in and started to put on her mask, i said its okay, no scaredy cats in here. And we all had a nice chat about this phony lockdown bullshit.

Your default should be walk in with no mask, ask, and if they get douchey, tell them you will put it on, but only out of respect for the owner, because the whole thing is a hoax.

Let people know where you stand, in some places, people just assume everyone is ok with it.

"tell them you will put it on"

NO,NO, and NO!

Yeah I get it but what am I going to do shove a 5ft woman aside that's just trying to do her job and pay the bills?

I see your point, but it has a larger ramification. Should the thousands of Russians sent to the Gulags have shoved a 05ft woman KGB agent aside who was just doing her job and trying to pay the bills?

Tell her to 'sod off'. Or pull a "Black Adder Impression', learn a handful of words in say Serbian,Russian or the like. Then when the 05ft woman comes along with her Dicta from the Supreme Leader of your State; just rattle off some phrases in a non English way This is what I have done; it works great, you cannot Order someone about who does not speak English. And I OBJECT to taking orders for a 05ft woman, a soy boy store clerk, or a refugee from Crispy Creme Doughnut Shop in a blue polyester thug outfit

Yeah, in my state, its still mandatory, and they can ask you to leave or call the cops. I barely have time to buy groceries, let alone get arrested every time i go.

I’d get a note from my doctor, im pretty sure he’s conservative, but you never know how cucked they are. It even says on the signs at the store that if you have a medical condition preventing you from wearing a mask, you have to provide documentation. Which is in total violation of the ADA, but thats how they are playing it.

No law enforcement agency can stop massive amount of business openings.

It is really annoying when people say that, and "They can't arrest everyone".

Well, what about those that they DO arrest? What about those people?

Protest isn't a solution. Action is.

The action is opening. The fact is most of the orders cannot stand up in court. Yes it will be a hassle. May involve a lawsuit. But if the alternative is your business is wiped out, it may be worth the rish. That is where a ton of small businesses find themselves.

I'm reminded of the words of Tin Cup:

"I hit it again because that shot was a defining moment, and when a defining moment comes along, you define the moment... or the moment defines you."

Two words: Jury Nullification

For any/all lockdown defiance related charges, should it come to that. Hopefully Barr and the DoJ set early examples on this stuff so it isn't needed, but Jury Nullification has always been citizenry's little known trump card.

Interesting.

Can you provide a more detailed paragraph on this? Would like to read more about it.

Can’t mayors and sheriffs that disagree with the shutdown declare they are sanctuary cities/counties. Make them say they have to follow the law of the higher entity and then they’ll come off even worse.

2
dataonly [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

They could try. That's for sure.

Around the states that attempted draconian gun control measures, many Sheriffs came out to say they would not enforce. They stood by the 2nd amendment.

Walking down my "main street" full of restaurants/shops in Queens NY this week I saw 1 to 10 people in every restaurant "picking up takeout"...which really means sitting at the bar drinking and chatting. And those are only the people I see, some places lock their doors and the locals stay and drink or people hang out in the street. New Yorkers may say they support the lock down but their actions are the opposite.

That is encouraging.

A salon owner in Salem OR was threatened with 70k in fines. Restaurants are having their business, health and liquor licenses pulled. I completely understand why they are wary of opening when they don't know if anyone further up will have their back soon enough to save them from drowning. A court decision may eventually be in their favor but how many years down the road? Nevertheless, another salon in OR is trying to get as many others as possible to open with her tomorrow, they MUST get back to work or they literally lose everything now. Everyone is focused on Obamagate and NYC, but we're being pulled under the water here in OR and don't know if any of the lifeguards will hear us.

Unfortunately there will be consequences. But many are at the point where cannot afford not to reopen. Its not just a financial decision. Sometimes people have to take a stand and they face consequences for doing so.

What is refreshing is the way the country has rallied to the aid of certain people such as the barber in MI and the salon owner in TX.
