Sally Yates was Obama's DA. She was not told about the situation, but had to piece it together based on the conversations she overheard between Obama and Comey, and was surprised it happened without her knowledge. It went to Obama without her. At least, I think that is what Rush was saying today. Either way she tried to protect Obama.
(I guess this is covered in the article, TLDR I guess)
"They never thought she would lose." Sally must've figured back then she had her career nailed down solid. A solid, loyal Dem. Well, too bad. Now, she must be thinking: squeal or hang?

Overheard conversations - riiiiiiiiight.
Nah - she was in on the whole thing from the beginning. They had to train her on what not to talk about, so they could have some plausible deniability later. The DNC State is layers of lies on top of lies woven with lies, frosted with lies and reinforced with more lies.
The only thing you can count on being true is that they are lying.
Nah, she knew everything. Her story was just cover so that she could claim ignorance and sabotage the Trump administration from within. They didn't expect Trump to fire her, and certainly not replace her soo soon.
The problem is that their coup didn't go as planned. They had to constantly shift tactics. So they didn't have their full game plan in action, they were reactive to changing events. Like how they never expected Comey to be outright fired either. Imagine how different things might be if he wasn't fired.
Flynn was "interviewed" by the FBI on Jan 24. Yates was fired on Jan 30. They moved on Flynn fast. You ever see government move that fast? No. Because they had an agenda. Yates was the one behind the whole Flynn deception. She's the one who went to Pence trying to get him to fire Flynn almost immediately after the FBI interviewed him, then when Pence shrugged her off, she leaked all this stuff about Flynn and accused him of being a Russian asset and a blackmail risk. All these events happened in literally less than a week. She wanted to corner the Whitehouse into having no choice but to fire him regardless of the truth, because of the risk.
And the whole point of going after Flynn, was to stop him, as a national security advisor, from blowing the whole Russian collusion hoax wide open early on.
Yates knew Flynn was never an actual Russian asset nor could he have possibly been blackmailed. Think about it...how would they blackmail him? "Mr. Flynn, I am blackmailing you because you shook the hands of some Russians at a public event.....and you failed to recall this. Now do my bidding or else I expose you!". THAT is literally Yates's whole case against Flynn, THAT is why she went to the Whitehouse to try to get him fired. It's preposterously flimsy, and shows a motive on her part.
Even the Whitehouse knew something was up at that point, they just didn't know exactly what, and being the first days of an administration just getting off the ground, they were forced to fire Flynn. Partially because they didn't want scandals, and partially because they didn't know exactly what was going on. And they certainly couldn't ignore it. They were put in a corner by Yates after her leaking, because they couldn't take the risk of being "warned" by an Obama official, doing nothing, then having it turn out she was right. That would have been seen as a scandal too, and a pretty big one, because it'd be ignoring the DOJ and jeopardizing national security. It was crafted to put Trump between a rock and a hard place. It was designed so that firing Flynn appeared to be the safer course of action.
Of course they would attack Trump anyways, as we've seen throughout his presidency, but these were the first days of the administration. No one expected them to go after Trump as much as they have over these past few years, it's unprecedented the level of attacks. Maybe they expected the Bush treatment, but before Trump, even hated incoming Republican presidents weren't treated this badly.
After the briefing, Obama dismissed the group but asked Yates and Comey to stay behind. Obama started by saying he had “learned of the information about Flynn” and his conversation with Kislyak about sanctions. Obama specified that he did not want any additional information on the matter, but was seeking information on whether the White House should be treating Flynn any differently, given the information.
So, Obama did commit treason... He was involved from the very beginning in the whole Russia hoax.
Oh, this is getting really good. The rats will start turning on each other, and like in all other court proceedings, the first to snitch, will get the best deal.

She was the Deputy Attorney General at the time the FISA warrants were signed. You can start on page 8 of this interview if you'd like, but basically she admits that she signed off on the FISA warrants without any evidence aside from the made up Steele Dossier.
So, treason then.
UH HELLO? BUZZFEED NEWS TOLD ME THAT WAS EVIDENCE

This, exactly.

I swear to god it’s that fucking haircut.
She definitely asks to see the manager
These other diners think it’s six feet sometimes, but it’s six feet at all times!!!
You can smell the cat piss from here
She reminds me of Stuart's mom from MADTv
LOCK THEM ALL UP!
We used to execute traitors in this country...
Lock her up.
burn them to the ground
Lied under oath... GITMO
She didn't lie, she omitted. And the omissions were to the General Congress. Not behind closed doors.
I hate this slimy cunt, don't get me wrong. But it isn't perjury.
Can you leave out truth and be considered such? You’re right slimy as fuu.
Yes, but Perjury is a very specific charge. Unless you are Michael Flynn, thank god that is over.
$1200 Trump bucks says she doesn’t even get a slap on the wrist. Democrats are never held accountable for their actions.
So, Obama did commit treason... He was involved from the very beginning in the whole Russia hoax.
WHY ISN'T SHE IN JAIL? OH RIGHT - Liberal
Oh, this is getting really good. The rats will start turning on each other, and like in all other court proceedings, the first to snitch, will get the best deal.
Why so many people are burning themselves for Obama? There is enough proof now, it's just unmasking the deep state.
This is really, really deep. I hope they all go to prison.
Firing squad!!
Second that.
I was wondering why she never said anything until it was exposed!! I hope she got her security clearance yanked!!
So did she lie to Congress under oath?
Is that a crime?
That's what Roger Stone did apparently so yes.
CNN cameras and A morning FBI raid?
If fairness existed...
I mean, maybe a regular arrest even?
Didn’t Obama say he found out about all this in the news?
