If all the dots turn red, THEN you should start worrying.

There have been a few strange East Coast quakes recently, including North Carolina. As long as New Madrid doesn't fire off a big one, I guess we are good right now.

I just checked my science book and it's listed under the facts section.

That's right.

Whether the quakes are of concern or not, people should accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior regardless of anything else happening in the world.

What happened?

Ring of fire usually looks like that. Sumatra area usually has some pretty big earth quakes. Might look up the average? Everytime I look up the map it appears similar. No activity would be concerning. Lots of quakes is pressure relief. No quakes is pressure building. Being I Washington we are familiar with "the big one". We had a pretty significant one in 2000? 2002? Can't remember. But hadn't had any for a while. Ours are very deep though. A 7 here is much more bearable then a 7 in California. As their fault line is on the surface. From what I remember anyways. Yellowstone is one to watch though. I visited about 8 years ago and the magma chamber was moving towards the lake. And even melted a road after we left. There were busy building new trails for all the hot springs, gysers, etc. While the main part of the park was slowing down in activity. Even old faithful is slowing down.

Well.. biblically you could say "labor pains, and wars and rumors of wars.". And we are pretty close to the beast emerging and the anti-christ. So much talk of requiring vaccines and a mark in order to engage in commerce.

Yeah it is. I'm sure other generations felt th same. There is a cycle to these events and times. I'm sure with world wide communication it seems more prevalent. But also because of global community it all happens faster and is more damaging. It's not localized anymore.

The ones at the Vatican and Galilee just hours apart seem normal.

Use https://m.emsc.eu/earthquake/latest.php?min_mag=3&max_mag=n/a&date=n/a&euromed=World instead or supplementing USGS- they don't list many quakes happening.

Also monitor volcano activity- the patterns seem linked.

I would say follow Dutchsinse on Twitch to gain a solid understanding of the ebb and flow of our planet's quakes so you can see it yourself in future.

And getting informed on the impacts of a solar minimum and the likely grand solar minimum we are in on atmosphere and plates etc would be very useful too.

i routinely visit https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/

and i toggle the all mag 1 day option on a zoomed in area of the sierra nevada dear to me.

i also routinely keep track of sunspots https://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/sunspots/ FYI we are in a solar minimum (11 year sun cycle)

less of a routine, but still sometimes I keep track of the wind sensors: https://earth.nullschool.net

mintyfresh 1 point ago +1 / -0

We've been in a solar minimum for going on 15 years now. It happens without regard to the 11 year cycle.

1
freeelectron 1 point ago +1 / -0

we are in a local solar minimum. that's what i've observed. i remember like 5,6 years ago there were so many sun spots the sun looked like a braided blueberry cobbler through polarized sunglasses. (i use a small telescope with a solar filter now days)

mintyfresh 2 points ago +2 / -0

Solar activity has been dropping since Cycle 21, and really started falling fast after Cycle 23.

We won't be sure until there are a couple more cycles as low as Cycle 24.

I agree that we are at the end minimum of the current Cycle 24, and about to start Cycle 25.
