The fact that the barber shops and hair salons are so heavily shuttered implies to me that they do not.
Barbers were the origin of doctors and surgery; they became the front line in disease prevention through proper grooming and shit, do people not remember this?
Proper grooming is essential to a healthy society.. kind of telling they want us all to look and feel like homeless bums eh?
Absolutely; when you were out in the fields and nearly cut your own leg off they would take you to the barber to take the rest of it off, bandage, etc...
At some point we decided you should have a lot of education for surgery (makes sense... ) and seperated the two fields; but this doesn't change the fact that the barber has always been (and still is) the first and front line of disease/parasitic prevention.
