The problem with Moderates and Republicans is that they cannot comprehend how the Democrat party will act. We tend to think in the logical and optimal way however Democrats already fucked over the entire Bernie voter wing twice without a second thought just to prevent losing control.
Biden has been a Dem dog for so long the Dems party owes him big and will lie or cheat to let him run because its his turn. The Dems know they cannot beat Trump this cycle with their normal candidates so they won't run them. They also hate Bernie and do not want their little club upset by Bernie so they refuse to let him run because he might upset the ivory tower. Biden is a sacrificial lamb while they prepare for 2024 when they actually have a chance. The primaries were just a 2024 selection test. Oh and by having Biden run it protects Ukrainegate.
