I'm finding more and more obscure Woods films that I'm baffled I haven't heard of until recently. I just watched a 1996 one last night in which he KILLED IT: Killer - Journal of a Murder re (real life) serial killer Carl Pranzam who befriends a guard for whom he writes his unofficial memoirs in the early 1930s. Phenomenal acting. I've always thought he was criminally underrated.
Thanks - I'll check it out. Two other good ones - one is with the recently-deceased, great Brian Dennihy, Bestseller and Indictment: The McMartin Trial - which is EERILY prescient for our media-gone-WILD current days (if the sickening McMartin trial doesn't ring a bell, please read up on it - a daycare center in California where these kids started coming up with these totally surreal stories of further-escalating abuse - aliens, live sacrifice on altars, etc, etc - but.....was ANY of it true?). Also features the recently-deceased great actress Sally McKnight as the grandmother.
