Hope it can help you all out. To me it is more about outsiders watching back and forths than the people I engage. I doubt my lefty friends will change their minds, but using clean original sources and maintaining decorum I do know has caught people's attention in a good way.
I prefer to delve into articles and get in to actual source documents such as released transcripts etc. vice dealing with the reliable attack on source bias.

Concern about Russia meddling sure. However the Russian machine has manipulated power players other than Trump with way more effectiveness than has been reported.
Prior administration holdovers have done more to act as "Russian Allies" undermining the democracy than the Trumpster has.
This has all been discussed and pieced together by news outside of the main outlets. The past week has been a watershed of declassification and release of source government documents confirming several years of reports about the corrupt admin holdovers.
DNC server hack "By Russians" turns out the prior admin law authorities (FBI/CIA/NSA) never took possession of the server for forensic analysis. The DNC hired a politically connected private company that only now is learned they never found actual evidence of Russia hacking despite Schiff and media running with Russia hack narrative for years.

Last week there were 2-3 year old classified transcripts released last week by (D) Schiff where all the top tier of the Russia investigation; McCabe, Clapper, Rice, Lynch, Power, Farkas all said under oath they had no actual knowledge or evidence Trump and Russia conspired.

The Steele Dossier was identified as the primary source of information to base the investigation on and it ACTUALLY used suspected Russian disinformation sources to support claims.
Russians found out Steele was conducting a contracted investigation and may have targeted him for disinformation. This suspect Russia supplied information was used in the secret FISA courts to justify surveillance against a presidential opposition candidate, aka Trump.
