I watched his video. With 3 family members who were in law enforcement, he's someone my kin would be proud of.

This thread needs a bump. It’s one thing when a billionaire does this; it’s another when your avg joe puts everything on the line, not diminishing anything Elon has done at all.

We are so fucked in Wa. This is a guy that thought his superiors had his back and they left him hanging on a noose. Our governor today essentially said people not complying with stay at home orders are going to be facing sanctions of criminal and or civil penalties details in the next few days.

High level law administrators protect and serve only one thing. Their careers.

Sounds like grounds for a lawsuit.

So the 1st means Kaepernik can take a dump on the flag but we draw the line at a police officer exercising his 1st amendment rights.

what he needs is a massive show of support from fellow leo's. his shouldn't be a lone voice, here.

Wake up. This is a drop in the bucket of proof that the vast majority of cops are order-following criminal whores of government tyranny.

It’s obvious the work for the state, not the people. No matter how many “good ones” there are, their orders do not come from us. Their orders come against us. Every time.

Never call the cops. Their presence will not help 95% of the time

Trump said the governors are being watched and he WILL step in if necessary. HOW LONG IS HE GOING TO WAIT?

Someone give this guy a solid job. He's got actual honor.

cluckingducks 8 points ago +8 / -0

Paraphrasing: You piss off enough Americans and the power of the police will be gone in 10 minutes.

Don, if you or your staff are reading this, help this man.

The difference is east to spot: Veteran bred vs City bred police disposition. We shouldn't wonder why he stands for Constitutional Rights of others.

His whole dept should walk out until he's reinstated.

I’m a Police Constable in Canada. My political thoughts and “conspiracy” theories are always highly debated. But I red pill the fuck out of my brothers and sisters. Its worth it!

utfanx2 5 points ago +7 / -2

Mistake was filming it in uniform without getting permission to publicly represent his department.

Brother, I am proud of you and will be praying for you. I hope the others in our chosen calling will honor their oaths and the people will heed your advice. Well done good and faithful servant. Take note of the Union response. They may offer you higher pay and benefits but unions are a communist construct period. If you care about it more than your country then you are an fool and may not call yourself a patriot. As you can see they didn't help this guy at all.

When you are in police academy you pledge to the audience (fellow citizens) to uphold the constitution.

They are not activist and due not get to subvert it.

Had that happened by the time you posted?

3

A cop who won't violate the constitution?

In a perfect America every department in the world would be begging him to join.

3
police4MAGA 3 points ago +5 / -2

I agree with this guy, bust posting political opinions in uniform is a no no. Most departments have policies against this stuff.

Is "upholding the United States Constitution" a political opinion?

-1
myswedishfriend -1 points ago +3 / -4

Of course it is. Don't be naive. One of the two major political parties in this country has open disdain for the Constitution. It should never have been allowed to come this far, but here we are.

4
jsnforce 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm not being naive, I'm refusing to give leftists an inch. Upholding the Constitution is NOT a "political opinion" because it's not up for debate; it's their job. It's everyone's job.

4
MrWWonka 4 points ago +4 / -0

100% Correct! The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are not opinion pieces up for general Debate. They are the Fabric that built the cloth of our Society.

6
VetforTrump 6 points ago +6 / -0

Speaking about something you had to give an oath too is not political speech. That distinction is simple and yet you didn't see it. We have a lot of work to do

2
cuhboose 2 points ago +2 / -0

Freedom of speech and expression. Juicy lawsuit is juicy.

2
cluckingducks 2 points ago +2 / -0

From the second vid. I've touched on this before and gotten grief. "Maybe I'm not meant to be a police officer..."
