I get that, but he's still lying on national TV. He's thrown the people who called the cops before to protect his property, who lost everything trying to catch his burglar, to the wolves. Absolutely spineless coward.
No matter what happens as an outcome, I feel like nobody can win here except the Democrats.
If these men are rightfully vindicated, it plays right into the media and Democrats playbook for 2020. They get to race bait and claim bullshit about justice not being served and try to drive a further wedge between races that Trump has been working so hard on fixing.
If these men are wrongfully convicted, then the rule of law is being blinded and replaced with the rule of social justice. It also then fits into the Democrats playbook because they can claim it reinforces their belief that racism is on the rise and these guys "hunted" that poor jogger.

Am I wrong here? Please tell me I'm wrong.
A simple rebuttal: If they are vindicated, the rule of law is upheld. If they are convicted, the left does not get to race bait. So we win either way!
More seriously, I can see why youre worried, but I disagree that the dems win either way.
