For those who aren't aware, Mike Garcia has not won yet. Reporting on the counts has now been halted as they begin counting all the mail-in ballots. This is where the ballot harvesting comes into play.
The final count will not be announced until May 15th.
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. The number of expected mail-in ballots to be counted far exceeds the number of votes needed for the crooked Dems to flip the win.
I expect that every mail-in ballot will miraculously be in favor of the Dem candidate.

Ballot Harvesting and Mail-In voting are two separate things as far as i know. I was of the understanding that ballot harvesters go to peoples houses to collect and/or fill out ballots. This is how they cheat with it. That said there's NOTHING stopping Republicans from doing the same damn thing.

I read an article a while back that said the CA GOP was caught off guard in 2018 with the ballot harvesting scheme, but had significantly ramped up their ground game since that time. Hope their preparation outweighs Democrat cheating.

I am not even involved in politics and can point out the GOP are horrible at the ground game, no voter registration, no calling, never see them canvasing, only Dems all over the place. GOP never get people out to sign petitions (dems do this all the time, even if the bill would never see the light of day, they identify first time or inactive voters through the petition process). Special elections always have low turnout. So 145k sounds about right. Probably a few more tens of thousands to count of course, but don't expect the number to be anywhere close to 425k.

I honestly don't think they'd dare. He's up ~11 points, 16k votes. That's not some half a percent lead they can just say flipped by chance. It would be too obvious, and it would turn too many people against the idea of mail in voting because they'd see it for what it was. Thank you for bringing up McSally. I wasn’t a huge fan but did vote for her and remember her being several percentage points ahead even late into the night (like midnight). I also seem to remember the news calling it for her because they weren’t neck and neck. Then miraculously it turned up Sinema. It certainly felt odd. I don’t think Sinema has turned out to be that bad (although I haven’t been following her closely), but I definitely felt like there were shenanigans.

The Dems who ran completely unopposed and won were the state legislators in Virginia in 2018. There were like 10 seats they picked up with zero Republican resistance.

Even then the mail in percentages were WAY down for Dems. Reps mailed in 40-60% of those ballots. They'd need 19 thousand votes plus whatever surprise Republican ballots they missed during the "pre-screening".

The flips that happen are usually quite tight. 2-3% points. Not 10 point leads evaporating WITH 100% of precincts reporting in.
That is what gives me the most confidence. Usually it's like 93% reporting in. Just the inner city shitholes that are fudging numbers left. This time nope. No surprise extra ballots just what's in the bin.
