Right now they're ignoring it because, even though its the biggest story of our time, they have to keep up the 'Orange Man raped my livelihood' narrative. But I predict at some point, they will all at the same time start covering it heavily because it simply cannot be ignored. Some will play dumb, others will run cover. But none will apologize to Trump.
I predict most will simply ignore it as long as they can until they can down play it and strawman argue minor points in order to try to discredit the whole story. Just like the "fact checking" websites do.
Okay this might be a super dumb question so I apologize ahead of time. This "Obamagate" story which I totally believe to be true. What in all honesty happens realistically. Do we actually see Obama and others go to prison or does it just get drawn out and downplayed forever and nothing ever happens. I want to be excited for some justice but I realize it won't happen as simply as I would hope.
I think culprits like strzok, page, mccabe, and others of their sort could see time in federal prison. Possibly even the likes of comey, clapper and brennan. Afraid there's no chance obama is prosecuted even if he deserves to be. That won't be a popular opinion here, but they aren't going to pursue that particular outcome.
What is so astounding is how many people were directly involved or tacitly complicit in making this whole plan come to pass. I could easily comprehend maybe 2 or 3 bad apples wanting to put the screws to Trump and his administration but to see the participation across the IC agencies, and the Oval Office, and into the State Dept (Vindman, Nicholas Nickelby, Ambassador woman, etc.), in all of this and the 'keeping quiet' required to pull this off is mind blowing. Also amazing is that, to my knowledge, there's nobody spilling the beans and turning states evidence is (although impressive for the loyalty) going against human nature.
Logically speaking, all these people knowing this whole thing and keeping their mouths shut would actually point to it more likely not being true. However it's not like each of these people knew the whole damn thing, or like there really was a single overarching top-down plan. It was all a bunch of tiny pieces that each person did not realising they were part of a much bigger, multi-pronged attack to destroy the president. All those people are guilty of course, but the guys who would have seen the most of those pieces are the guys at the top, namely Obama, Biden, Clapper, Brennan, and Comey.
Please help I've got a few lib friends asking about it because they are genuinely curious, so I'm sending them this link. Are there any other good summary/primers that are also preferably palatable to snowflake mentalities?
