Who benefits from driving a wedge between DJT and his most prominent supporters? That would be the Democrats, who want to take the Senate and keep the House.

Republicans THINK they benefit from getting rid of Trump tho. It's imaginary but they believe it. Trump went against the ayn rand free market stuff they love so much and they want that stuff to come back. It is what they are most comfortable with.
