Obama's Chief of Staff requested an unmasking on January 5th 2017 - the same day Obama had a meeting with Comey, Biden, Yates and Rice in his office regarding Flynn... So that day is probably when Obama found out and consequently had the meeting in order to put his dogs on Flynn.
