If shit particles can fit through two layers of cloth, travel across the room then land in your nose, then a virus can fit through those stupid fashion symbol, moral narcissist, masks... For the low information liberal: methane is odorless.

And even n95 masks can only filter 95% of 300nm particles when properly worn. Cloth masks provide nothing in the way of protection.

Exactly this, but unfortunately 80% of the people who I see wearing a mask are constantly touching and adjusting them. And I’d bet my house that 90% of those people are leaving them in their cars instead of washing them after every use. I feel like this is worse than just basic hygiene that we all should have learned by now.

95% rate is only for standard 'static pressure'. As soon as you cough or breathe hard through a n95 / surgical / cloth mask you eject everything on the inside to the outside.

The more accurate analogy is if you diarrhea yourself, do others in the room get wet?

Hopefully not, but occasionally maybe

Ya but comparing exhaling to diarrhea would mean you would have to squirt out a bit more every few seconds. You'd start leaving a wet trail everywhere you went.

Oxygen and carbon dioxide are odorless gasses. That's not what you are smelling. The smell comes primarily from volatile sulfur compounds from your shit.

He's right though, sulfur is 0.104nm, this a huge difference.

The smell most of us associate with a fart is methyl mercaptan.

You're not wrong, just clarifying a specific compound.

mercaptain

There's some kind of swamp navy joke in there

It's sad that you are the only one that appears to know this.

The smelliest farts are due to sulfur compounds, like hydrogen sulfide (which is a gas).
