I laugh whenever I hear people blame all this on Trump because he ‘didn’t listen to the WHO and CDC’. They both said conflicting things throughout the entire process, even before it. Masks work, masks don’t work, it’s not going to be a big deal, oh wait it is now cause the DNC said so. Trump still shut down the borders and got everybody more supplies than they ever needed. He even brought in military boat hospitals that were hardly used so they had to go. Giant medical camps were set up that had nearly no patients. He fast tracked all cure and vaccine efforts. He went all out despite the panic surrounding the gravity of this being a made up media hoax, which he himself even noted.
I’m have a harder time than normal taking complaints about how Trump is handling things seriously. What the hell do they actually want him to do? It’s not like he caused it. China did. And he was the one that shut them out as Pelosi and all the rest were encouraging people to come hug an Asian in fucking Chinatown at ground zero.
I think Trump has done amazing in terms of addressing the actual coronavirus. But as we have seen, this isnt about the coronavirus, its about the tyranny. I want him to be more aggressive and go on the offensive against the tyranny and reopening. Hes been sort of defensive about it and passive with the 'let them hang themselves' approach which is not good for everyday Americans who are losing jobs by the week waiting for the pissing match to end.
They might not be gassing Americans (yet) but millions will die in the third world due to hunger, and Americans will be experiencing suicides too. Who knows what they got planned for us if they got total control (microchips, vaccines, fema camps).
The vaccines i heard will kill a lot of people.

MN tested 5,000 yesterday but wants to up those numbers to 20,000. Now why would I waste time getting tested if I had no symptoms. I don't randomly go in to get tested for other illnesses, unless I am sick or at risk.

Tests are pointless unless your testing daily if not multiple times a day depending on the person/situation so you would need billions every year just for the US. This shit was supposed to be so contagious and was going to spread like wildfire and it seems the only places that happens is where people are confined in closed quarters like nursing homes and jails/prisons where morons are trying to purposely get infected to be released.
It truly is amazing how the leftists only care about things that help them in the immediate moment, and jettison the very thing the second it no longer benefits them.

3 people in my office (office of 15 people, we're pretty tightly packed as well) got tested last week and all 3 were positive. We all got kinda sick back in late Feb. Nothing terrible, but definitely not feeling well and it lasted nearly 2 weeks. Most likely all of us had it. I think this thing was rampant well before we realized.
We're probably already pretty close to herd immunity levels tbh, which is why it's important we open. I'm in Texas so we've been open for two weeks now and the hospitals aren't filling back up. Notice how the death rate was high in countries with shit healthcare and democrat cities. But Houston which is run by shitty dems but has some of the best doctors and hospitals in the world has a pretty low death rate. I think democrat states and cities were letting people die. Especially Cuomo not doing shit about the nursing homes.

If a lot of people already have antibodies, that might be the best way to convince scared people that is OK to go back to normal.
They will just tell you that "we don't know how long the antibodies last", or "the virus has already mutated", or some other such nonsense.

Yep. I remember way back in March it was two weeks to Flatten the Curve. My son's college extended their one week Spring Break to two weeks with the plan to resume school after that break on campus. So much for that. Now here we sit and some schools are saying they may not open in the Fall.

The funniest thing about it is these people complaining about there not being enough testing are hiding in their houses and not going to get tested. How you can complain about there not being enough testing but not going to get tested yourself? You have to have people to test to be able to administer tests, and even then we're still kicking ass
Two of my clients are urgent care centers and they've been having us push their testing on all our marketing because they say no one is showing up. Test is 20 bucks and no one is showing up. 3 of my coworkers got tested last week, all 3 were positive on the antibody test. We're probably really close to herd immunity at this point. $20 sounds reasonable and I would go for that but when I looked up antibody tests near me the price was $169 (down from $330). I could give 2 shits less finding out definitively for that price. I had what I thought was a bad sinus infection in late Feb that I'll just chop up as commie cough getting wrecked by my typically stellar immune system and that's good enough for this mask-less rascal.
The post doesn't make this clear but while we are ahead of Canada and the UK we are actually behind almost every other country still on per capita testing. Absolutely nowhere near the top of the list.
