Every time the government closes down we hear news story after news story about how devastating it is for families and how we need to get those employees back to work. But now, they've had private businesses closed for weeks, going on months. I don't ever again want to hear another word about the negative effects of a government shutdown.

Exactly. Where are the news stories about how we have to get these businesses up and running again so people can feed their families?
