It was such a classy well done heartwarming campaign for Michigan Tourism. I live in the state and it prompted me to travel where I'd not gone before . It drove tourism to us and helped our State greatly, then along comes this bitch and she stops it dead in its glorious tracks. Whatta ho. Promoted places off the beaten path . People hear Michigan and think of nasty Detroit. That is no way Michigan. Beautiful State with miles of white sandy shoreline along Lake Michigan. Clean friendly cities with down to earth people.The West side of the state is red and glorious. Come visit. We will keep the witch of a Governor away from you with pitchforks and torches lol.
We love Michigan! You are right. Beautiful state. We just visited Pictured Rocks last Fall and had a great time! Your state is full of amazing hiking and beaches. I can't imagine what her motivation is for cutting off a great campaign. Weird. You would think she would welcome tourism dollars.
I had read a few years ago how much those ads brought tourists here. They were so beautifully done and they told interesting facts about the places featured. Tim Allen's voice was very soothing as was the music. The Gov is an inept witch.
