This is exactly what they do in rural and remote parts of my country. It was much worse back in the day.
The homeless can still vote, even if they don't have addresses as far as I know. At least, that's how it works in Canada. There's an extra step (like they need a guarantor to vouch for their identity and lack of address) but it can be done.

I believe it has to do with mail-in voting. If you don’t have an address it’s difficult to mail you a ballot. Give them a place to live for a couple months, get them registered and boom free votes. Dems really are the worst.
My heart goes out to the poor hotel workers and maids who have been conscripted into managing a screaming horde of smelly drug addicts and psychotics. Bellboys will have to navigate hallways full of intravenous drug users, housekeepers may find themselves cleaning rooms alone with paroled rapists, and so on. and the head of the veterans affairs committee (d-ca) is proposing tent cities in va parking lots for our veterans. his state is not only putting the homeless up in hotels, they're delivering booze, weed and "other medications"...at least in trash francisco. fucking shameful.

Sure, but giving them addictive substances with the condition that they vote a certain way is shady as hell.
THAT would be illegal. But yes, giving them those substances (using taxpayer's money) while the homeless know where it came from is really scummy.

Its all sleazy but we all know that 99.99% of homeless people arent voting.
They are in california, even if they dont actually do it...theyre votes will be counted.
The Democrats will vote for them.
