It's happening. I got one of my friends to move his textile business pretty much completely out of China - he's now 3/4 Vietnam and 1/4 India.
And his web site says where every item is made, and where the materials are sourced. Because I told him I wouldn't buy anything unless I could be sure there was no China involvement.
I totally agree, I myself refuse to buy anything made in China unless there is no other option.
But, important to remember, the Chinese folk are like everyone else on Earth, wanting to raise their kids, enjoy a game, fish, socialize. They are stuck under a tyranny just as the Russians were under the Soviet fist.
Ideally, the moment America breaks the Chicoms, the world can return to working on trade with China again.
But until then, it is like handing your enemy the means to your demise.
people are not the same as everyone else on earth. i reject that proposition.
the chicom government is so successful at undermining the usa because the chinese people are full of nationalist pride and have bought into the idea that chinese should rule the world and eventually will rule the world.
i work in a really diverse company. chinese may not be as racist as indians, but holy hell if americans understood them we wouldn't allow them on our soil.
you know about the uigher, right? but do you know about the other 8 ethnic groups the han are working to exterminate?
Uighers, Muslims, Christians, The chicoms are vicious, too true.
Not necessarily a reflection of all Chinese.
Just like America has many despicable people, and many great people.
Even if I grant you that most of them are brainwashed by their leadership, it IS our duty to inform the Chinese about how civilized peoples are to act if they want a place in the world.
For too long we have shied away, as a society, and world, from calling out the chicom evil. Obviously, this will change.
Free me from China!
