Me personally, during this whole thing i have never felt any fear whatsoever regarding the virus. Yes this virus has taken out lots of people worldwide, but you know what else has, the flu. Each year worldwide, influenza kills 500,000 people every year. And that was from a google search i saw early on when. Funnily enough this statistic no longer shows up when you type in how many people die from influenza each year worldwide. What, did people just stop dying from the flu this year??
Its all BS, the fake corrupt media made this thing out to be the apocalypse, like it was the end of the world. Well it didnt take me out, im still here. And like the great DJT, i dont wear a mask when i go out.
I was worried that he would start wearing a mask during press brefings, thank goodness he is still the good old DJT i know and love. He like me cannot and will not wear a mask.
Mark my words, wordwide this virus is on its way down. Just look at countries all over the world, especially Italy, Spain and Britian that are now reopening thier countries.
Also, i have this belief that DJT will win re-election in a landslide and that whatever the media and Democrats try to do between now and November will blow up in their face.
Fear motivates you to sacrifice liberty in order to gain safety. The truth is we are all going to die and I'm dying on my feet
I was talking to someone recently and they opined that people are all scared to die now because they have no religion and death is unknown to them. When you spend the first 20, 30, 40 years ago watching Star Wars, playing vidya games and living in Mom's basement, of course you are going to fear death because you already fear living.
not all video games are bad. i grew up flying and driving real physics simulators.
i also played various other trainers and executive decision-making games (on mac os)
my family didnt own a TV either
Video / computer games have trained me to be the fearless warrior that I am today. Victory, or Sovngarde!
Then I took an arrow to the knee.
Ha!
Oh I get it. I still play video games myself. The other day when the weather was shit my daughter and I played a Kirby game together which was loads of fun. I just don't make them my identity.
I noticed this this week and I think it's really their only play.
If you think about it, defending the lockdown is political suicide.
99.5% of infected people survive,
and nowhere near 100% of the population gets infected.
Therefore, you have an OVERWHELMING majority of people who are largely unaffected by the virus.
So keeping these people in lockdown, losing their jobs, their financial freedom, their civil liberties, is going to piss them off. Defending this status quo is going to piss them off. Pushing for it to last longer is going to piss them off.
The ONLY case where you can sustain this powergrab is if you make the OVERWHELMING majority of people VERY, VERY AFRAID. If they aren't afraid, they will be angry. If they were afraid, and the fear has worn off, it will turn to anger. And they won't aim this at the president, they will aim it at people telling them to stay indoors.
So the MSM has to work overtime convincing people to be afraid. They have to repeat death numbers every day. They have to come up with new complications to attribute to the virus. They have to get doctors and reliable people on TV talking about how dangerous it is. It is literally their only play. It's wearing off now, and we're seeing the anger blowing up in their faces already in special elections. If they stoke this anger more in Q3 it will be A DEVASTATING LANDSLIDE for the republicans.
