No vaccine, open the country, jail time for governors who broke the Constitution.

We need to stand up against this vaccine push, tracing, and lockdowns. Our liberty is hanging by a thread

41
Vegans4Trump 41 points ago +42 / -1

and none of this "phased reopening" bullshit. We need 100% back to normal and nothing less. Do not comply even with the smallest "compromise" such as wearing a mask if they allow you to go to a store, or copy your ID to allow you to go out to eat. We will not be supporting the economy and giving them tax revenue unless they give us back our rights FIRST.

In my area they are requiring places to copy your ID if you are gonna be in there longer than 15 minutes or something like that. It's basically to start contact tracing

Not gonna happen if people keep stupidly mingling around as we open up.

People last month promised to wear masks when they reopen and they are not doing that, as expected.

The masks are not to protect you. It is to protect others so your nastyass saliva and snot don't get spread in the air when you sneeze and cough.

11

"Stupidly mingling" just like we always stupidly mingled since forever and yet still have thrived despite many diseases trying to kill us?

No chance any vaccine they make will actually be real anyway.

They still haven't developed an RNA vaccine in >78 years of trying.

36
HockeyMom4Trump 36 points ago +36 / -0

Exactly. Where are the effective vaccines for other coronaviruses?

-30
One_Eyed_Willy -30 points ago +5 / -35

Technically there has never been a need this widely public and globally. Not everything is in a vacuum when it comes to the virus and politics.

20
mvrak 20 points ago +21 / -1

I found the data-denier. Covid deaths are < flu deaths in the first year. The first year for a novel virus is grossly disproportionate to ongoing infections and deaths. What need?

12
Sumarongi 12 points ago +13 / -1

Why is there a flu shot EVERY YEAR?

That is not a vaccine

16
The_Almighty_Kek 16 points ago +17 / -1

Because there isn't just one single strain of influenza. It's very mutation prone, and each year there's a whole new "cocktail" of strains to attempt to inoculate people for.

I don't get them because for the past 30 years, my immune system has done a good enough job at staving off the flu. I'm not going to get jabbed unless I start getting sick every year. Gotta keep that immune system strong. It's also why I'm not worried about all the door handles, masks, or hand sanitizer bullshit. Exposure is a great vaccine.

4
10MeV 4 points ago +4 / -0

I'm with you. I'm old enough that I'm retired and in the last 20 years I may have had a knock-me-on-my-butt flu about one time. I never get the flu shot, don't need it, don't want it.

I don't intend to wait for any rotten excuse for a "Covid 19" vaccine either. The key to that whole strategy is the vaccine providers will make a fortune from them, and they are apparently immune from prosecution for any issues arising from their potions. It's a risk-free license to make money. The motivation is too obvious.

3
TheDespotofCartoons 3 points ago +3 / -0

Your ideas intrigue me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter. ^_^

In all seriousness, I couldn't agree more. For me, I'm a teacher in a public school; I've been exposed to numerous strains of God knows what, so at this point I could probably go to a third world shithole unvaccinated and not catch a thing.

1
mvrak 1 point ago +3 / -2

Because the flu is hundreds of hundreds of viruses, and includes coronavirus. And its novel every year. (this is a simplification but more or less true, who wants to discuss viral mutations and capsids in a comment)

Need? This virus is called SARS-CoV-2 aka Covid19. SARS-CoV-1 died off on its own in 10 months. No vaccine was created.

Need? This virus with its inflated mortality numbers just passed the 2017-2018 FLU season which killed 80,000+ Vaccinated Americans and we did not shut down over that. In Other news NY State cured all other causes of death?

Need? Iceland and Switzerland have solid proof that children under 10 are less likely to die from this than the flu, but they seem to have a natural resistance and in Iceland, no child has passed it to an adult.

Need? India has the same number of dead as California?

Need? SARS-CoV-2 has the same fatality rate is the FLU this year according to the CDC yet people will still tell you its 10X more lethal. (See Below)

Need? Sweden has the same death rate as the United States.

https://covid19dashboards.com/covid-compare-permillion/

2017-2018 Flu Season had 959,00 people in the hospital for the flu and 79,400 died

CDC is no longer reporting deaths from the FLU below is the last report from April 17th.

Current (APRIL 17th) US CDC FLU Numbers to date 24,000 dead (In 2018 we have 80,000 die from the FLU)

1,303,970 Tested nationally, 247,785 tested positive and 24,000 died

9.68% of everyone testing positive of the flu died this year

CDC Current US COVID 19 Numbers to date 68,279 dead

It’s all about how it mutates. Those other viruses you mentioned don’t mutate as easily as strains of the flu and coronaviruses.

Big thing about the corona strains is the fact the other two major ones SARS and MERS basically disappeared after the initial run. There’s flare ups here and there for MERS, but it you don’t hear about it as often.

I think this is why Trump said it’ll disappear. Hell, even Fauci said they could disappear. No one knows yet, though.

Not quite. RNA vaccines are different than vaccines intended to treat RNA viruses.

RNA vaccines differ from normal vaccines in that they rely on the body to synthesize antigens from the RNA, and then the immune response is invoked. Normally, vaccines just inject antigens.

So yes, there are vaccines for viruses that replicate via RNA. What makes it hard is fast mutation (HIV) and many strains (flu, cold). Coronoviruses do fall into the latter type, but if there is only 1 strain of it, then there is a chance a vaccine could be developed. Some studies have reported that people cannot get reinfected, which supports that.

1
cheesecakelove 1 point ago +1 / -0

Obviously not true. I was just responding to what you said about measles and mumps.

10
mvrak 10 points ago +10 / -0

The flu vaccine rarely covers more than half the strains for a given year.

The 80k deaths in 2018 are despite the widespread vaccine use.

7
B3fre 7 points ago +7 / -0

It is true that a successful RNA vaccine hasn't been developed, but it shouldn't be conflated with vaccines to treat RNA viruses.

RNA vaccines are different than vaccines intended to treat RNA viruses. Measles, mumps, and rubella comes from an RNA virus, but we already have the MMR vaccine to treat it.

RNA vaccines differ from normal vaccines in that they rely on the body to synthesize antigens from the RNA, and then the immune response is invoked. Normally, vaccines just inject antigens. (link to read more)

That said, RNA viruses can be tough to develop vaccines for because of fast mutation (HIV) and many strains (flu, cold). Coronoviruses do fall into the latter type, but if there is only 1 strain of this one, then there is a chance a vaccine could be developed. Some studies have reported that people cannot get reinfected, which supports that.

There is a difference between a vaccine for a virus with RNA and an rna vaccine at least thats what I picked up over last few months. Not an expert but it seems like people are talking about different things

3
Ocineaa 3 points ago +3 / -0

They've been wrong with all the flu types included in the vaccine the last two or three years so they don't really do anything.

27
ChuckedBeef 27 points ago +27 / -0

FUCK a vaccine. It's a carrot on a stick. The Flu wipes out 50-60k every single year and we've never developed a successful vaccine for that. This COVID 1984 shit will be no different.

Meanwhile, in MN, we’ve closed pools and beaches the entire summer.

No one has any balls to just say, “You know what, life is full of risks. We are opening the damn pools!”

My guess: They have closed beaches and pools in MN for the summer but the drowning rate will go up, as more people attempt to cool off in hot July in lakes and rivers.

People wearing masks at the beach and stuff? I'm curious as to how tight a grip the fear still has.

10
HockeyMom4Trump 10 points ago +11 / -1

I was at the beach last week in a southern state and most were not wearing masks. The few that arrived at the hotel in masks seemed shell-shocked upon arrival, but after a day or two, removed their masks to relax on the beach. People kept their distance, which honestly, they should anyway. I never liked it when I would set up our towels to enjoy a day at the Beach with my family and someone would swoop right next to us, even though the beach was not crowded. So I am happy people are now giving me space to have time with my family.

8
Phillysmackdown 8 points ago +8 / -0

When I got out and about here in Jacksonville its about 30 to 70%. 30% wearing masks and 70% not. What I noticed the last couple times at the store is a majority of minorities were wearing masks. 2nd biggest group were soy boys wearing masks. My part of Jacksonville doesn't have many Karens so I cant comment on them. Luckily we're a military city and most don't believe this shit.

3
duvalpede 3 points ago +3 / -0

1
HockeyMom4Trump 1 point ago +2 / -1

You should do it!

We are in MN and plan to stay three more years, until my son graduates high school. He plays hockey.

Then we plan to move south to warmer weather and more conservative values. Although, I am at the point where I don't know if we will be able to wait three more years. We are about done with liberal MN.

2
RenaissanceOfHope 2 points ago +2 / -0

He could try and play college hockey up north and you guys move down south when he is in college!

SC sucks, go to Florida instead (I’m from SC & being extremely serious without sarcasm).

0
HockeyMom4Trump 0 points ago +1 / -1

That's the plan! I love the Carolinas, but North is getting so overwhelmed with liberals from the Northeast. We think South Carolina is a great state! Charleston, Hilton Head, Beaufort, Greenville, Lexington, Pawley's Island...I am shocked you think it sucks. It's one of our favorites! :) I am jealous you get to live there.

1
RenaissanceOfHope 1 point ago +1 / -0

There are several reasons why I would advise against moving to SC UNLESS you pick Greenville:

  1. The 7% income tax.
  2. Not enough gun freedom.
  3. All of the cities are mid-size metros at best.
  4. You get that Bible Belt culture without any of the benefits that other places in the south have (whether it be major cities, extra freedom, super low taxes).

The pros about SC are: Greenville (thank God I live closer to there than the other 2 out of the Big 3 cities). If you want the beach, go to Florida, if you want the temperate climate- go to Asheville NC, if you want the city life go to Atlanta.

Now Greenville is one of the BEST cities in the nation period.

1
HockeyMom4Trump 1 point ago +1 / -0

You have to remember we are currently in MN. Even the negatives of South Carolina would be a step up for us! :)

I appreciate your perspective and thank you for sharing your experience living there. We spend much of the year frozen and surrounded by snow, so even just getting rid of those 20 below days will be an improvement!

10
HockeyMom4Trump 10 points ago +11 / -1

I’m beginning to think even the Karens are wearing down. In my neighborhood they’ve been pretty quiet, but when this first started in March they were on that Nextdoor Neighborhood app posting pictures of teenage boys daring to play basketball in the local park. Not so much anymore.

Everyone is tired of this bullshit and realizing the data does not match what we were initially told and the destruction of our economy has been worse for more families than the virus.

12
drsowells1fan 12 points ago +12 / -0

The sentiment on NextDoor this morning here in champagne socialist land was overwhelmingly "wtf, this has gone too far....Garcetti can stuff it. Don't be a sheep." I do believe the tide is turning.

all we need, like all we needed for all the previous "pandemics" is HERD IMMUNITY. All the past health scares still exist and can still infect someone weak enough:

  • MERS
  • SARS
  • Avian/Swine Flu
  • Zika
  • West Nile
  • Ebola
  • even the Plague, Anthrax and E. Coli.

They all still exist in the wild, you can still become infected and they still can kill a few people under the right conditions. Why don't we fear them? Herd Immunity. We developed herd immunity, developed treatments to help people who get infected fight and beat it and we take steps to safeguard those most vulnerable to it. We never locked down the economy, forced millions into business failure and bankruptcy, and never took away citizens' rights and freedoms over them. We never mandated masks to go out in public.

19
Averon 19 points ago +19 / -0

For those who can't beat it with their immune system, HCQ is available, but the deep state is pushing back against that treatment because they want more death. In some hospitals, according to that one nurse, they are killing people who could have beat it by just sticking them on ventilators.

8
ShalomRPh 8 points ago +10 / -2

I would disagree, having been hospitalized with it. I almost died from this shit.

On the other hand, with an antibody level of +137, I don't need any hypothetical vaccine now.

edit: neither does anyone else with antibodies. If they ever do come up with a vaccine for this, which I doubt, they should exempt anyone with antibodies in their blood, like they do with measles. I think you'd be surprised how many people have already had it asymptomatically and now have antibodies to it. Well not you personally, I mean the public in general.

6
HockeyMom4Trump 6 points ago +7 / -1

Just curious...do you have any reason that would make this virus nearly kill you, whereas Rand Paul has it and did not even feel any symptoms? Are you a bigger person? Diabetic? Older?

Wonder why some are asymptomatic and others get hit so hard?

Glad you recovered. I suppose it is a good feeling to know you defeated it!

3
splink 3 points ago +3 / -0

My daughter had it from a coworker at her coffee shop, she is young, healthy with good immune and she was still very sick with "flu" for about five days then began to get better. Took about a week and a half to recover altogether. She said it is like a very bad flu, not an easy one.

1
Pepega 1 point ago +1 / -0

glad you're okay, can i ask age, sex, rough body fat percentage, smoker, drinker, etc?

What i'm asking is how healthy would you consider yourself.

Ignoring things like quality of food, avoiding toxic products in daily life, etc.

8
ShalomRPh 8 points ago +8 / -0

Early 50s, male, somewhat overweight (BMI was about 36? I lost 20 pounds in the hospital, anyway, and I'm making an effort to keep it that way, I can fit into clothes I haven't been able to wear for years. Unfortunately that included that one pair of trousers that had poison ivy all over them and I was scratching for two days straight, I'd forgotten about those.) Non smoker, non drinker, non drug user, not diabetic, possible metabolic syndrome. They didn't do a single lipid panel in the hospital, which annoys me.

Might have pre-existing lung issues, a cardiologist told me 15 years ago that I might have exercise-induced asthma, but I don't exercise anyway so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Did tend to get out of breath easily, especially if I walked fast after eating. Suspect auto-immune condition going on based on 2018 blood work, was supposed to see a rheumatologist before all this shit happened. Just got an email that his office is starting to open back up, will follow up.

My wife had it with me, but she didn't need hospitalization, she wasn't anywhere near as bad off as I was. I did not need a ventilator thank $DEITY.

Why I got it worse? Who knows. I'm a pharmacist, it's my job to be face to face with sick people all day long. Maybe I got it from multiple people so had multiple strains simultaneously?

(/u/HockeyMom4Trump hope this answers your question as well.)

You can stick the vaccine up Bill Gates asshole.

Sorry, not sorry. Trump will be walking a very thin line with any vaccine that gets forced onto the American people.

20
Bax101 20 points ago +20 / -0

He will listen to the people like us pedes if enough of us say NO vaccines.

If he doesn't he will see massive negative consequences.

4
SheepleMaster 4 points ago +4 / -0

Has Trump seen this: https://thedonald.win/p/FMlhtXIz/guess-who-is-antitrump-but-the-m/c/

Gates is not Trumps friend.

4
Redditcensorsyouandi 4 points ago +4 / -0

He will of course not force it on anyone. I think he only mentions it in order to calm the paranoid and delusional hordes.

Ironically the people that want a vaccine the most are the same ones that were gung ho about "mUH eSsEnTiAL oiLs!"

2
MostEffectualTopKek 2 points ago +2 / -0

Big Brain Time.

Trump is not going to force a vaccine on anyone.

But he needs to play the media game.

Yo fuck Bill Gates and his vaccine

Politics and microchipping us like dogs aside, his track record with fighting viruses is the worst in human history

28
ferofiliumWI 28 points ago +28 / -0

Stop it with the vaccine. My family isn't taking shit.

5
rplgn 5 points ago +5 / -0

I bet it's gonna be an optional thing anyway ;)

4
Redditcensorsyouandi 4 points ago +4 / -0

No doubt in my mind. Trump would never mandate something like this 👍

25
Bax101 25 points ago +25 / -0

No vaccine

23
Ryoten 23 points ago +24 / -1

Not getting vaccine. Too much controversy around it. Don't trust it.

18
AllTheWayTrump 18 points ago +18 / -0

Fuck a vaccine. Especially one rushed. Years later when problems start to reveal themselves and the manufacturers have immunity. They can kiss my ass on me taking that shit.

7
HockeyMom4Trump 7 points ago +8 / -1

Take this vaccine! Twenty years later everyone is sterile in the entire country.

6
Work2gethrBiglyOrDie 6 points ago +6 / -0

AJ's Wednesday show mentioned that the WHO (or similar, on banned dot video) admitted recently that they are adding things to make people sterile. And aren't sperm counts, fertility problems, etc already bad compared to what they were?

15
spezisthedevil 15 points ago +15 / -0

Vaccine should NEVER be mandatory because fuck holding people down and jabbing them with needles against their will. That should never be a thing in America. If a vaccine is safe and effective, people will voluntarily get them, ...or not, ...because (unlike abortion) IT'S THEIR BODY, THEIR CHOICE.

2
deleted 2 points ago +6 / -4
5
spezisthedevil 5 points ago +5 / -0

I never said he did, but I guarantee that eventually many corporations that hold de-facto monopolies/duopolies will try refusing important services to those that do not take a vaccine, because tyranny is what globohomos do by nature.

14
barwhack 14 points ago +14 / -0

Don't count on an RNA vaccine. HIV still has none. And flu is hardly a vaccine.

RNA vaccines effectively don't exist.

2
UpTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

13
tr808 13 points ago +13 / -0

12
Dialectic 12 points ago +12 / -0

The only vaccine this country needs is for shitbag governors and treasonous feds to be put in prison

12
dakin116 12 points ago +12 / -0

Fuck a vaccine. At this point i want them to say there is one and just give a placebo shot to people who want it and stop the looming depression

12
avalonrose 12 points ago +12 / -0

Great news, but it scares me when he starts talking about the vaccine, I won't lie....

12
MaxineWaters4Prez 12 points ago +13 / -1

If people opt to get a vaccine, good on them. But how much you want to bet they'll be mandatory for schools and first responders.

7
HockeyMom4Trump 7 points ago +9 / -2

I am sure they will be mandatory for schools.

9
nastyn8 9 points ago +9 / -0

If this happens, I will pay for a Christian school for my son. THERE ARE NO VACCINES FOR CORONAVIRUSES, ONLY SNAKE OIL.

3
splink 3 points ago +3 / -0

You should do that anyway. We paid for private school for three kids but it was worth every single penny.

7
dykstra89 7 points ago +7 / -0

5
MaxineWaters4Prez 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yup and they'll guilt you if you resist being forced with "do you want your kid to fucking die, you racist nazi?!"

I don't know if Trump is saying this stuff about vax to placate those in the admin he can't dispose of, or if he genuinely thinks a vax is a viable solution. Trump is a smart guy but not an immnlogist. I am. And there has never been a truly effective vax for such a virus; most research was abandoned years ago because of poor clinical trial results with severe reactions caused by secondary infection response post inoculation.

4
Work2gethrBiglyOrDie 4 points ago +4 / -0

I think AJ mentioned that Trump had a family member harmed by a vaccine, so this might just be a trap for nwo scientists, to calm the public, etc.

10
TheThreeSeashells 10 points ago +10 / -0

I know he has to talk about the vaccine to soothe the normies, but I hope he realizes most of his base doesn't care because they won't be taking it.

4
rplgn 4 points ago +4 / -0

I sure hope so. He did mention "other solutions" thus I can see him being aware.

He's not saying something to "soothe normies."

Yes he is. In non-clown world, the HCQ revelation should have taken care of that, but the media launched a campaign against it since there's no money to be made from it.

1
deleted 1 point ago +2 / -1
1
TheThreeSeashells 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thats fake news that there's no money to be made from it.

It's approximately $30-$40 for a bottle of 100 HCQ tablets for the patient (WuFlu treatment doesn't require that many) meaning it's really cheap to produce compared to the millions stood to be made from developing and mass administering a vaccine that they're trying to convince people is the only way to get their lives back to normal.

The media/Left is harping on "vaccine, vaccine, vaccine" and trying to convince others that there's no other treatment. In particular the most successful treatment of HCQ/Z-Pack/Zinc.

Not seeing what this is all about and not picking up on the media/Leftist agenda is what's asinine.

As long as the vaccine is optional. Otherwise there's gonna be big trouble.

9
xx0725 9 points ago +9 / -0

Unless you are in a nursing home in a handful of Dem-run states on the east coast, your chances of dying from this flu are almost NOTHING.

2
UpTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

Isn't it funny how the blue states have much worse numbers than anywhere else?

9
Yucky 9 points ago +9 / -0

Why are we not talking about Hydroxycloroquine with Azithromycin and zinc? In ever damn study it's worked wonders. There is literally a treatment on the market right now and it costs a few dollars. Why is this not being pushed as the answer?

That, along with vitamin D, which every study shows has a major positive impact?

Please stop pretending there is no treatment, when there is one right in front of our eyes.

I love his optimism and confidence.

We have a treatment, we have/will have reliable supply chains for PPE. And if I know how Trump operates, we will not have to worry about having enough hospital beds for those who need them.

If and when a vaccine becomes available, I am confident Trump will make it available to anyone who wants one.

I understand why people have problems with his style, but in my view, Trump has been the best president of my lifetime. (Kennedy was president when I was born)
