Correlation is not causation. The rolling 7 day average is a better metric to pay attention to.

If you look back you see a sharp decrease for 2 days which happens every weekend, probably due to labs (or whatever reporting body) being closed on the weekends.

Move that arrow to the orange line (get rid of the blue line) and you've got a more persuasive graph.

The weird thing is... sometimes the dip doesn’t occur on the weekend but on Monday..... and the dip keeps getting lower.... but the highs keep remaining just as high.... that seems weird to me.
