Well, Zunker didn't have a "narrow loss." She lost by over 14 points, and Smith didn't even come close to winning. And yet, three days after it was published, I've noticed a conspicuous lack of a follow-up to that FiveThirtyEight article. In fact, it's been complete radio silence for pretty much everywhere but here. Lefty rags were building up these special elections as important news, and now that we have the results, they've completely fallen off the radar. Odd how that works.
