My response: "Yay, the problem of the human condition has been solved! In all seriousness, I’m curious how this new normal will be achieved. Is it through social distancing? A tearing down of the old capitalist order? To be replaced with what, exactly? Not trolling, truly curious. Maybe I’m missing some broader context."

I've begun to suspect that "New Normal" is going to mean communism.

New Normal means the government has seized and/or controls the means of production.

New Normal means the government controls hours of operation for private businesses.

New Normal means forced vaccinations and forced medical treatments.

New Normal means the government makes lists of people who attend social events and religious services, who shops at what stores, and what products they buy.

New Normal means your neighbors rat you out for your behavior.

Is China Flu the event that ushers in the New Normal? I'm starting to believe it.
