Just out of curiosity, are you finding Rosetta Stone to be worth the price? I've been thinking of using my spare time to learn a new language - probably Italian or Portuguese.

Used Rosetta Stone French I for a month before a two-week vacation in France. I was functional, even had some fun!

honestly... no.

but i used to live in spain when i was a kid (long before the euro) so i used to go to school there and the majority of my base knowledge is from school over there many years ago (forgot most of it at this point in my life)... i think if i didnt have that base knowledge rosetta stone would be exceptionally harder. RS just throws words at you and dosent tell you what they mean. i have to refer to an online dictionary alot to fill in the gaps.

however, should you happen to have a cracked version that accidentally finds its way onto you PC all by itself (similar to how epstien died all by himself) i dont see how anyone in the media or law enforcement could be upset with you (similar to how no one is questioning his death)

just a theory

I've used it. It wasn't that helpful. Duolingo is free and largely is just as helpful. Immersion works. But online pretend immersion doesn't.
