It's a nice-looking pistol, and high-capacity too, as well as pretty heavy at 28 oz. unloaded. All great things since heavier firearms mean less muzzle rise and less felt recoil. I don't own any Tauruses, but I've seen generally positive reviews for their semi-automatics, so I think you'll be just fine. Some people hate Taurus and talk that it's unreliable-- that is a lot more true with their revolvers. They are often defective and malfunction, so steer clear of Taurus revolvers, but their semi-automatics should serve you well. You can also pick up some other really good pistols for 350-400. I don't know what your budget was but if you need any recommendations I'd be happy to help out.
Right on, thanks. I mainly just wanted something to keep at the house and possibly CC at some point, maybe in a while. Not a huge gun fanatic but deer hunt almost every season but just always use my dads shotguns. But who knows, might get addicted
Sweet, I just bought my first 9mm, cant find ammo anywhere locally. Havent even been able to shoot it!
Nice, congratulations! I juat came back from the local indoor range here in Chicago, which curiously enough is open. What did you buy?
Cool, I'm in IL. too, central. I got the Taurus th9, seems to have good reviews for a budget handgun...hoping thats true?
