Those nerds can protest because momma government won't let them. But daddy Trump works through the night, world ending epidemic and all, baby.

California was once a reliably red state. Arizona is purple now, leaning towards turning permanently blue as well. Texas has turned purple. ILLEGAL alien criminal filth are indeed changing the demographics.

5
white_redoubt 5 points ago +5 / -0

Legal immigrants are changing the demographics. Only 25% of births in Texas are white.

Look at video of any major american city in the 60s or before. Now look at at video of any major american city now, after the immigration act of 1965.

Onplanet 3 points ago +6 / -3

Yea I never agreed with the "demographics is destiny" thing. Sure there is a tendency there, but perception is everything.

If the dems lose their aura of being pro-immigrant or actually caring about people, they lose most of their voting base - and honestly I think that has already been happening for a while. Their reputation is now closer to corporate establishment quo pushers that want cheap labor than a bernie-esque movement that some people actually had a real belief in.

3
DoYouBelieveInMAGA 3 points ago +5 / -2

So if Repubs turn into open border cucks, we can get their votes. Great.

2
Onplanet 2 points ago +3 / -1

That's just an issue that happens to be popular today, an election can really be about anything.

The way people think today also doesn't extend forever, no matter where they originally came from or where their parents came from.

You're completely wrong. There's a reason hispanics were the #1 group in Bernie Sander's block. They are socialists coming here to loot the country, go drive through any Mexican majority city in this country.

Carter was a nice man, but an abject failure as a president. America had to suffer horribly with Carter to get us a Ronald Reagan. America suffered under Obama, too, but Obama was much more successful at sowing racial and social discord than Carter. I don't recall Carter trying to divide Americans. Carter was simply not up to the job. Obama, as we have seen, was nefarious, explaining why Trump barely beat the most corrupt woman to ever run for the presidency.

For what it's worth, until Trump, I have voted Libertarian or other 3rd party my whole voting career. Trump was my first winning presidential candidate, and I couldn't be happier.

Commie Central Control decides the messaging every day. When they decide to stop fighting on one front, that's it. There is very little organic, honest reporting through mass media channels.

Afeazo 13 points ago +13 / -0

Plus with some states banning all construction, all the large contractors with all the heavy equipment are available to bid on immediate contracts. Not only that, the bids are probably low because if it wasn’t for the wall they would be going slowly out of business.

Congratulations, Democrats. You just helped Trump build his wall faster, and for cheaper contracted rates. UNDER BUDGET, AHEAD OF SCHEDULE!

I just think Texas is more libertarian than a lot of other Red states, and even this website gets authoritarian at times. Texas isn’t just seizing land by eminent domain based on executive orders, they are going to do it the long way as it is fair to the people who are being inconvenienced by this. While I would like to see the wall built quickly, I do not like big government and I think Texas is handling it the way they need to in order to not be authoritarian against these people.

We’ve got 4+ more years.

14
HeyZeusChristo54 14 points ago +14 / -0

We're 40 years too late. Even if it were all finished tomorrow, there are approximately 30 million illegal aliens that have settled into the interior of the country and have ruined and are continuing to ruin many once great places to live. These people are out breeding Americans all over the country and overwhelmingly vote left and it will only be a matter of time before the USA becomes like Mexico.

11
Scuffers 11 points ago +12 / -1

That's the project for the next 4 years, supercharge ICE and get them out.

3
ThisTrainHasNoBrakes 3 points ago +3 / -0

Agreed, and now we have covid and unemployment to point to as a reason. Not that there wasn't plenty before.

2
HeyZeusChristo54 2 points ago +3 / -1

Will not happen. There are far too many legal loop holes and activist judges and lawyers that will never allow for mass deportations. Anchor baby births are outpacing natural born Americans at an alarming rate and Hispanics will make up the majority of the American population within a generation or two. The ship is sinking.

2
Scuffers 2 points ago +2 / -0

hard to be an activist lawyer whenn you still in lock-down!

HeyZeusChristo54 0 points ago +1 / -1

Do you hear how retarded you sound? How old are you? Attorneys can 100% work remotely and only really have to leave their office for court dates and the courts are opening up. I have jury duty in two weeks.

2
Scuffers 2 points ago +2 / -0

LOL!

So, all I am going on is their total absence in the last couple of months with ICE deporting people in hours not months.

20
VictoriousOnceMore88 20 points ago +20 / -0

Seek to become a Border Patrol Agent via the Direct Hire opportunities via USAJobs.gov or a Border Customs Protection Officer. (also direct hire and same website) after you complete your graduation; direct hire can be as quick as 6 months to 10 months to complete the ore-employment process but each step has to be passed to move into the next one; both agencies under DHS desperately need strong, brave and Patriotic Trumplicans among the ranks big time! Both are riddled with still many idiots like my current employer within DHS BUT each of these agencies are still far superior and have overall less pathetic, completely brain dead liberal junkies and insane hate filled nasty Democrats); higher pay and opportunities to travel too.

I have to say, the concept is a really good idea. 30ft high, steel with see through so agents can see what's going on. My brother has TDS and is an Obamanoid. He's said well if there's a 30ft wall then there's a 31 ft ladder. Really? Then pray tell, how does one sneak over when agents can see what you're doing and just busy your ass? Also 30 ft means there won't be any pregnant senioritas coming over with a bun in the oven so they can give birth on US soil and try to gain US citizenship. Also you can only count on the ladder to get up, the top is designed so you can't perch yourself up there and pull the ladder..so that means you're jumping. At a heigh of over 21 feet the risk of injury or death dramatically increases. So the wall will do exactly what it's intended to do. It will deter a significant number of illegal crossings and it will give law enforcement enough time to catch up with people who are a bit bolder. Once the border is secure we can divert resources into deporting every illegal

A couple years ago, I was one of those smug impatient malcontents who said things like "Oh yeah, Trump might be doing some good things, but he still hasn't even built the wall, which was his biggest promise".

Yeah, I was a bit of an idiot. I'm sorry.

Are you aware of all the court cases that held it up though? Once those were finally over the progress has been pretty steady. Thats why Trumps revamp of the courts was so important and his main focus the first couple years. It truly sets the stage for everything else.

This is good since a lot of the people who got put into remain in Mexico have abandoned their asylum claims and gone home. If they decide to cross illegally, it’s going to be harder.
