I get your point and second it. I take this virus about as serious as seasonal flu, but I’m very careful talking about to people who are either overly concerned for elderly loved ones or who are only got freaked out because they just witnessed the planet earth go into a collective panic.
I was wondering if this argument would work - the flu kills 500,000 each year and at 80,000 dead over 3 months means that Covid is ALMOST as deadly as the flu. And, if they haven't stayed home literally every flu season since they were born then they're also complicit in "killing old people" that they keep wringing their hands over.
I don't know, maybe it's a bad argument but I want to try it out and see what I get for responses.

We were playing last night and ended up on the virus and he says he won't visit me (in a different town but in Texas like me) until there is a vaccine. I shut this shit down and ask him if he wants to live in fear of something slightly worse than the flu. Also asked is willing to not get a job and live under tyranny just to be "safe".
